Did you come to the right place! We are an informal bunch of shutter-happy, fun-loving camera buffs.

What do we do?

We go places and take pictures of stuff. Any stuff. Lots of stuff. We also hang out and talk. We have been known to do both at the same time. Afterward, some people might drink Margaritas. It's been known to happen.

How far will I  go to have fun?

Mostly around Southern California: Orange County, Los Angeles, the Inland Empire and San Diego, but we might also range farther when the mood strikes us.

How often?

As often as possible. We try for at least once a week

I'm kind of new to the game. Is this the group for me?

We were there once and we love to share what we know (or think we know) with eager minds.

So what will all this cost me?

Nothing! We have no annual dues. This group doesn't make a cent! We're just here for fun. Of course, you will pay for the gas in your car and some of the places that we go do charge admission and stuff like that. It's also possible that we may have to compensate speakers for their time and effort, but that will be an occasional thing and not the norm.

And, once you get more and more into this photography thing, you might start dropping a lot of coin on new camera gear, so that part might wind up costing you a lot, but that's not our fault.
